Have you guys watched qubool hai 2.0?
I wanted to watch something nostalgic, something that would remind me of the shows I used to love as a kid. *Qubool Hai* was one of my absolute favorites, but I knew rewatching it now would feel too slow and stretched out for my taste. So, I thought *Qubool Hai 2.0* might be a good alternative—shorter, fresher, and hopefully, engaging. I watched the trailer, and honestly, it looked promising. I wasn’t expecting anything groundbreaking (it’s ITV, after all), but I figured it could at least be a decent watch. But then I actually started watching it, and oh my god—it was beyond stupid. I swear, even Wattpad writers could come up with a better story. The execution was just so childish, so poorly done, that I kept wondering, “Did they even try?” The whole India-Pakistan love story angle could have been interesting if handled well. They could’ve made something gripping, maybe along the lines of *Crash Landing on You*. But no, they had to turn it into this absurd mess filled with the dumbest, most illogical plot points. Like, we’re supposed to believe that anyone can just walk into a general’s house and assassinate him without any real security stopping them? Four random terrorists show up out of nowhere, and there’s not a single competent guard in sight? The police are just standing there like background props, contributing absolutely nothing. And don’t even get me started on the airport scene—if Asad was such a huge national security threat, they could’ve made a few phone calls and stopped the boarding process within seconds. But no, apparently, in their world, security protocols just don’t exist. Everything about the way this story unfolds is so childish and lazy. It’s like they wanted to make a high-stakes, cross-border romance with a thrilling espionage angle, but they put zero effort into making it actually make sense. It’s all just random, over-the-top drama with no logic or buildup. And yet… I still watched it. Why? Because no matter how ridiculous the plot is, nothing can match Asad and Zoya’s chemistry. That was the only saving grace. Their dynamic is still electric, and I won’t lie—the aesthetic of the show was *chef’s kiss*. The outfits, the visuals, the overall vibe—it was all beautiful. But a show can’t survive on aesthetics and chemistry alone. It’s frustrating because this could have been *so* much better. The core idea isn’t bad, but the way they executed it is just embarrassing. They had a chance to make a gripping, well-written story, but instead, they threw logic out the window and expected us to just go along with it. If they had put even a little more thought into the writing, it could have been something truly special. Instead, we got this half-baked nonsense that feels like it was written by someone who has no idea how the real world works. Honestly, I have low expectations from ITV, but even by those standards, this was a mess.2
