Down memory lane - Looking for a drama name.

This drama was around 2010-ish. It was a take on Romeo and Juliet where the cane from a rich family in a village. Her parents fought to protect her because Dada dadi wanted a grandson and she ended up being a girl. Boy came from a poor background. Both fell in love and at sometime, the boy went to get an education and became a rich business man. The girl ended up engaged to someone else. Sorry that's all I remember. Drama was on Star Plus. I have been looking for a name but I can't find it.
