Do I need to watch season 1 of Ek Duje Ke Vaaste before watching season 2?

I'm new to the series and wondering if I need to watch Ek Duje Ke Vaaste Season 1 before jumping into Season 2. I checked out the synopses, and Season 2 seems way more interesting to me than Season 1.
