A particular community objected to tying the loudspeaker to an iron pillar, prompting police intervention led by station in-charge Santosh Kumar, along with Panchayat representatives. Who all mediated and agreed to a temporary agreement to remove the loudspeaker after the two days of the event. However, still tensions escalated, and by mid-morning, stone-pelting erupted from rooftops of a nearby madrasa, and half a dozen people were injured. By late morning, the situation worsened as those miscreants set fire to a Baleno car, six motorcycles, a scooty, a bicycle, and a shop, while a bike was pushed into a well and an auto was overturned. The police responded by deploying large forces from multiple police stations, including officers ASP Shruti, SDPO Amit Kumar, SDO Lokesh Barangay, CO Ramji Prasad Gupta, BDO Santosh Kumar, and Inspector Vinod Kumar.
