2016-2019 ICT will always be nostalgic

Koach had hit his Supermanesque peak. Brohit and Dhawan looked like the second coming of Hayden and Gilchrist. Pandya and Dhoni were like Batman and Robin in the lower middle order. Kuldeep and Chahal were doing it for us in the middle. We had finally found a reliable bowler in Bumrah who could lead our pace attack. You sit down to watch an ODI and a century from the top 3 was most often than not certain. In Tests - Shami, Bumrah, Ishant went toe to toe with the Aussie pace quartet down under and overseas. Aided by Umbrose and Scientist Anna in home, we were invincible. Pujara and Jinx middle order changed lives. I dont remember T20's of that era except the IPL. Nidahas Trophy final where DK went God mode was the only memorable T20 match I can recall. The only problem that sucked away our chances at a ICC trophy was a fragile middle order. A problem that bit our asses both in 2017 CT and 2019 WC.
