Vivek oberoi a scammer?

Recently news articles were poping up on my phone about vivek oberoi new money lending business worth 3400 crore Rs. I was curious how he made so much money with business so i started looking up but the company name was not found but i found his old company Karrm Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. where he has potentially scammed the investors from housing projects. So all his charity works is just smokescreen to whitewash his scams?
