Serious post:- Please don't risk the lives of your loved ones.
So a few months ago, I lost my younger cousin brother who succumbed to an accident. He was just a 11 year old school going kid. One day, he was usually returning to home after his school. He used to travel to school through an Auto Rickshaw as his parents personally knew the rickshaw the rickshaw driver. My brother was accompanied by 7 more children from his school. The driver was driving pretty recklessly on wrong side of the road then he suddenly turned his rickshaw without being aware of a truck. The auto was toppled sideways after crashing into the truck. The truck driver crashed into the rickshaw and casually drove his truck as if nothing had happened. When we saw the CCTV footage of the crash. We were devastated. My brother and 5 other kids succumbed to the injuries and only 2 of them survived with major injuries. Now here comes the twist. The driver was missing from the auto rickshaw. He probably survived and escaped from the site. We tried to trace him through the number plate of the rickshaw. But it turns out that, it wasn't registered under his name but some other guy who owned the rickshaw and hired the driver. His phone was found damaged at the site. He wanted to avoid getting traced. He just casually caused the death of 6 innocent school-going kids and escaped. Police failed to find him. I have just one request to everyone here, never ever take an auto rickshaw ride to anywhere. Most of the rickshaws are either registered under someone else other than the driver or running illegally on roads. Please advise your loved ones to take cabs, metro or public buses to their work or college and don't risk their lives.1
