That night was dark...and I saw something 😶
The night was quiet, but it felt like something was about to happen. I sat near the back gate of TOAT, smoking, watching the smoke disappear into the air. Everything felt slower, like my thoughts were floating. A few people stood nearby, lost in their own worlds. Then, I saw them. A guy and a girl, walking with purpose. The guy kept looking around nervously, but the girl seemed confident, like she knew exactly where they were going. They walked past me, heading towards the Nehru Museum. I exhaled, watching them disappear. I wasn’t planning to follow them, but curiosity got the better of me. I put out my joint and trailed behind, keeping my distance. When I reached the museum, they were at the back gate. The guy looked unsure, but the girl pulled out some keys. **Wait, what?** Then—*click*—she unlocked the door. I pressed myself against the wall, peeking around the corner. They stepped inside, and the door closed behind them. **Was this place abandoned? Restricted? Some kind of secret meeting?** I thought about leaving. But the more I thought, the more I wanted to know. So I waited. Minutes passed. An hour. I leaned against the cold wall, lost in my thoughts. A pigeon flapped nearby, making me jump. Then—movement. The door creaked open, and they stepped out. Something was different. The air between them felt heavy, like something big had just happened. They walked in silence. I stayed hidden, but I could feel the tension. **What happened up there?** At SNIG, they stopped. He grabbed her wrist, said something I couldn’t hear. She pulled away like smoke. Then, suddenly—she *ran back*. Before he could react, she grabbed him, kissed him, and whispered something in his ear. Then she was gone, disappearing into the night. I stood there, dazed, trying to understand what I had just seen. **Was that real? Did I just imagine the whole thing?** I pulled out my phone and typed the only thing that made sense: *Did anyone else see that?*1
