Mechanical Engineering State

Hi I am an undergrad from a college in Kerala and I want to pursue Mtech in Mechanical Engineering and one of my target institutions is IIT Bombay. How is the Mechanical Engineering Branch there? How are the professors? Are they helpful? Does the Mechanical Engineering Branch have new and advanced technologies which can provide students the relevant knowledge? Does Mechanical Engineering in IIT Bombay follow the syllabus which contains new industry stuff? How are the extracurricular activities provided by the college? Do they provide more technical competition? Any good Internships? How is the placements? The industries came for placements mostly core or just coding? Please reply, Thank you
