need your help in a business idea
Hey everyone, My dad owns a small farm on the outskirts of Hyderabad, and he’s been pestering me about an idea for months. After giving it some thought, I’ve decided to give it a shot, but I could use some advice. A little backstory: My family has been growing our own vegetables for the past year while working our regular jobs. When I moved to the city and started buying groceries, I was shocked by the price gap. For example, tomatoes that sell for ₹10/kg at the farm are priced at ₹45/kg in the store. I get that big companies have overheads and middlemen to pay, but it made me think: why not sell directly to people in a small community at a fair price? Here’s what I’m planning: 1. Daily Packages: Offer a daily care package with fresh vegetables, milk, and eggs. 2. Pre-Orders: Send out a list of what’s available each day, and people can place their orders for next-day delivery. 3. Keep It Small: The farm’s max output is around 100 kg of vegetables a day, so I want to keep it manageable and focus on quality. I’m not looking to turn this into a big business, just something small and community-focused. It’s more about providing good, fresh, organic food to people while making the most of what we grow. ( ps: was not confident in writing it on my own so made chatgpt write it)1
