My research about PGs in Madhapur (Hyderabad)
I (31M) recently shifted to Hyderabad from Delhi and explored various PGs in Madhapur and nearby areas. So, I thought to put all of the stuff here so that it will help the other guys in my situation. * Savla's residency (Madhapur) * Pros: Vegetarian Food served 3 times a day. spacious rooms * Cons: No power backup. Don't go here if you have WFH. * Rent: 16k for double seater and 12,14k for single seater. Single seater rooms are made from store room and kitchen. Don't have attached washroom * The Livin Zone * Pros: Laundry included in rent * Cons: This PG is in too much congested area. For lunch, you have to pay extra. * Rent: 24k for single seater and 12k for double seater. Electricity charges not included in rent. * Keerthana coliving (met with the residents staying there) * Pros: NONE * Cons: No power backup. Don't go here if you have WFH. Poor quality food * Rent: 16k for single seater and 12k for double seater. * Sate PG (met with the residents staying there) * Pros: NONE * Cons: No power backup. Don't go here if you have WFH. Poor quality food * Rent: 21k for single seater and 12.5k for double seater. * Naren Coliving * Pros: Luxurious will all the facilities provided (including gym) and workable terrace. Good variety of food * Cons: expensive * Rent: 36k for single seater and 20k for double seater. * Lavish coliving * Pros: Cleaned and spacious rooms, decent food. Electricity charges included in rent * Cons: rice is provided most of the times during lunch * Rent: 23k for single seater and 12.5k for double seater. * Lotus coliving * Pros: Good for south Indians. Found it slightly racist towards North Indians. * Cons: If you are a Hindi speaker or North Indian, you won't like the ambience here. * Rent: 23k for single seater * westside coliving * Pros: newly built. Luxurious will all the facilities provided (including gym) and workable terrace. Good variety of food * Cons: expensive * Rent: 26k for single seater and 13k for double seater. Electricity charges not included in rent. * sussee coliving * Pros: decently built * Cons: expensive * Rent: 27k for single seater and 14k for double seater. Electricity charges not included in rent. * vasundhara coliving * Pros: Newly built. Food served 3 times a day. Good interiors. * Cons: No power backup. Don't go here if you have WFH. Only south Indian food will be served. * Rent: 26k for single seater and 13k for double seater. Electricity charges excluded in the rent. * Nandu PG: * Pros: Famous in its area. Food served 3 times a day. Spacious rooms * Cons: I find it overrated for its price. Even for a single seater room, washroom is common with other room. Food was also not that great. I found it below average. * Rent: 27k for single seater and 17k for double seater. Electricity charges excluded in the rent. * Star PG Single rooms * Pros: Only single seater rooms are there. Newly built. only vegetarian food, served 3 times a day. Laundry included in rent * Cons: too small room based on its price. Although I feel you can get a spacious room in the same price in this area. * Rent: 22k for single seater. Electricity charges (Rs. 12/unit) excluded in the rent. Hope it helps :)2
