Marketing tactic or real?

Opened Zomato and got this popup, weirded me out for a second since coincidentally I was thinking to order from that same restaurant (Tiffin Spot)! If it’s genuine then commendable to reduce food wastage by offering cancelled orders to others at discounted prices. But could also be a marketing ploy? P.S: I dallied too long and someone else “claimed” that discounted order 🫤
