Is it scam if it’s then y not the government looking for it
As a native of Hyderabad, I’ve traveled extensively within the city, and something deeply troubling continues to catch my attention at major traffic signals: organized begging involving women and children, seemingly from North India. These women often carry babies and use visibly injured children, sometimes with exposed burns, to draw sympathy and extract money. It’s not just heartbreaking but also infuriating to see such blatant exploitation of innocent children, likely under coercion. I’ve attached two pictures – one from 2022 and another taken today – which show the same pattern of abuse. What’s shocking is the apathy of the authorities. These incidents are concentrated at major traffic points like Nampally and Masab Tank, yet it seems like the government and traffic police have turned a blind eye to this growing issue. The most disturbing part? The woman in the recent photo immediately ran away when she saw me taking a picture. This behavior only strengthens suspicions of an organized racket exploiting children for monetary gain. It’s appalling that such things continue to happen openly in our city while authorities fail to act. How long will this exploitation go unchecked? Are there no efforts to rescue these children or address the criminal networks behind this? This isn’t just a matter of inconvenience at traffic signals – it’s a serious humanitarian issue that needs urgent attention.4
