How to push the police to take a case seriously?
My wife used a Ola bike. God only knows why. Either ways - driver misbehaved and passed comments and tried touching her. This happened literally in front of the apartment and then my wife screamed, slapped him and he stopped the bike. She got off and shouted at the security guard of our building to come but the bike guy ran off. Contacted OLA - the SOS button does nothing but calls 100. Tried reporting driver but the options do not load up. Used the “lost item” option and found the drivers phone number and bike number and the small low quality photo. Wife confirmed the photo is the same as the driver. Called emergency OLA hotline- no response as answer. Surprise surprise. Fucking useless app with a useless pos ceo. Went to Gachibowli station and went to the SHE team counter. Was told that the counter is only for domestic violence issues. So went to the main counter and filed a complaint. 5 days have passed and no follow up or action taken. We were given a receipt of complaint with the inspectors name but what should be our next move? How should we ensure that the driver is punished and no other women goes through this in the hands of this driver. Thanks in advance.4
