How to deal with Mirchi Mill releasing pollutants causing health issues?
Our house is in outskirts, we have all the legal and municipal layout permission for our house and the venture. There are around 100 independent houses. Nearby there is a cold storage and also a Mirchi mill. As soon as the mirchi reason starts, mill starts to release some pollutants into the air that has mirchi dust, which causes heavy cough and sneezing, unbearable to say the least. We did not know this when we bought the house. Is this even legal? How to address this. My mother developed a serious health condition which she did not have before, she constantly sneezes and coughs all the time. She has cold every night, extremely difficult for her to have a normal day’s sleep without taking cold medicine. Doctors said that there is some growth in the nose and it needs to be operated. I’m beyond pissed, how to handle this to have a successful outcome? Target is to make sure the mill do not release anything into the air and possibly sue them for my mother’s health. We complained to the local authorities, nothing happened. I’m guessing they are paid off. Please suggest if you have witnessed any such scenarios. I will also post in the legal subs but I want to understand experiences in our state.0
