Can anyone tell me the history of Alwal

I'm living in Alwal from 2014. I'm always fascinated to know it's history. Im aware that a lot of people were living in this place from 1980s. I want to know how alwal looked before 2010 or 2000. Do you have any pics or do you know about alwal lake?
