Question about shipping a small brass Shiva statue.

I sold a smaller sized Shiva figure that'd I'd found at a thrift store. Any particular things I should avoid when shipping it? I'm not Hindu and usually sell things I'm more knowledgeable of...paper and bubble wrapping it is the plan but I figured I'd ask just to make sure I could avoid a simple faux pas of a custom. Thanks in advance.
