New to Vishnu Bhakti – Looking for Guidance
Hello, I am a boy from Maharashtra. Since childhood, I have always felt a deep connection to Lord Krishna, Lord Rama, and the Dashavataras. As I grew up, I learned that they are all avatars of Shree Hari Vishnu. I have always wanted to worship Lord Vishnu in all His forms, including **Garbhodakashayi Vishnu** and **Kshirodakashayi Vishnu**. However, in my region, people mostly worship Lord Shiva and Lord Ganesha, so my elders and parents don’t have much knowledge about Vishnu Bhakti. To learn more, I am studying the **Shrimad Bhagavad Gita** and trying to chant the **Shree Hari Stotram** daily when possible. However, there are no nearby Lord Vishnu temples where I live, except for one that is quite far. I would love guidance from Vishnu devotees. Please share all the essential information about Shree Hari Bhakti, such as: * **Special days** dedicated to Lord Vishnu (like how Lord Shiva has Shivratri every month). * The **best ways to pray** to Lord Vishnu at home. * **Daily worship rituals** I can follow as a beginner. * Important **chants, mantras, or stotras** to recite. * **Rules or guidelines** for Vishnu Bhakti (e.g., dietary restrictions, purity, or lifestyle practices). * Is there a **specific time of day** that is best for worship? * Any **fasting practices** associated with Lord Vishnu. * The significance of **Ekadashi fasting** and how to observe it properly. * Any recommended **scriptures, books, or bhajans** to deepen my devotion. * How to develop a **stronger personal connection** with Lord Vishnu.1
