nīlabaraṇī, nabīnā ramaṇī, nāgiṇī-jaṛita-jaṭā-vibhūṣaṇī! nīlanalinī-yinī-trinayanī, nirakhilām niśānātha-nibhānanī! (She, clad in blue, a youthful woman, Adorned with a serpent entwined in her matted locks! The blue lotus-eyed, three-eyed goddess, Who quenches the eternal thirst of the night!) niramala-niśākara-kapālinī, nirupamā bhāle pañcarekhāśreṇī, nṛkara-cārukara-suśobhinī lolarasanā karālabadanī ॥ (With the pure moon resting on her forehead, An unparalleled beauty with five delicate lines gracing her brow. Her hands, shaped as if sculpted, hold their elegance, Her tongue, dangling, fierce, as her face terrifies.) nitambe beṣṭita śārdūla-chāla, nīlapadma kare, kare karabāla, nṛmuṇḍa kharpara apara dvikare, lambodarī lambodara-prasavinī । (Her waist girdled with a tiger’s skin, A blue lotus in one hand, a scimitar in another, Holding skulls and cups fashioned from heads in her other two hands, She, the long-bellied one, gives birth to the long-bellied Ganesha.) nipatita pati śava-rūpe pāya, nigame īṃhāra nigūḍha na pāya, nistāra pāite śivera upāya, nityasiddhā tārā nageṃdranandinī ॥ (She steps upon her fallen consort, Her essence so profound that even scriptures fail to comprehend her mystery.
