Ishta resonance

I feel like I can sense a kind of what I'm calling"resonance" (there is probably a better Sanskrit word) when I'm honest with my ishta. I feel like he can tell when I'm being dishonest with myself. I don't know the point of this post is just something that came to me when I was doing sadhana.
