Help for First Time Solo Business Travel to Delhi (Gurugram)

I'm a 31 year old Asian male from the U.S. visiting Gurugram next week for a few days for a work trip and have been trying to do research to be better prepared. I'll be staying at The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi, and the office that I'll be visiting isn't too far off (still within Sector 25). From what I've seen online, I can't tell if a lot of the guidance around Delhi is specific to New Delhi, or if it also applies to Gurugram. In general, I've read the following tips: * Don't befriend anyone * Beware of scammers * Don't walk alone anywhere * Avoid street food, raw food, and tap water Are there any other things people would recommend? Do these all apply/don't apply? What would be my options for convenience stores where I can get a quick bite and supplies? Is there anything safe and reliable? I'm essentially looking for an equivalent to 7-Eleven, Lawsons, FamilyMart, etc. Any other tips and recommendations are much appreciated!
