Dreams!

I started working towards UPSC about a year ago, and I find myself questioning everything. I’m afraid of being tagged as a “crazy aspirant.” Everyone talks about how UPSC is a poor man’s dream. I’m questioning whether I truly want it and whether this is the best way to achieve it. I would have loved being a politician — I know I would have given my best. But if Machiavelli taught me anything, it’s that I don’t have what it takes to be a Prince. So here I am, trying to become a merit-certified secretary to the Prince instead. I’m settling for a goal that I can achieve if I work hard enough and get lucky enough. One impossible dream traded for another!
