Dehradun to/from Gurgaon

Can someone here suggest a good and convenient way to travel back and forth between Dehradun and Gurgaon (cyber city)? As I have Hybrid week, I need to be able to travel after work-hours mostly. I have my own car but I don’t want to drive every other week. How are road conditions between GG and Dehradun? What is state bus routes which do not take me all the way to Delhi but if I can be dropped in gurugram? Which stop is popular puck and drop spot in Gurugram for state run buses? How is your experience with redbus? Is there any carpool thing people do here? Any tips and suggestions please.
