Spending new year’s eve in solitude, cooking and contemplating.

So I’m back home for the winter vacation. All my family and friends are out celebrating the new years’ eve, chose staying at home as low key wanted solitude. Last year was one hell of a ride, lots of crests and troughs, changed cities, had a really splendid experience at Delhi, met new people, failed at a few things, succeeded at few. Chased a goal relentlessly only to realise that everything that I need to lead a happy life is around me, forced me to think how worth is it to sacrifice your little joys in the pursuit of grandiose dreams? now that I am in my early 20s, life’s getting real. Still getting used to adulting and the perks and pain accompanying it. All in all Grateful for everything, hoping for a better year. Hope everyone has a great year ahead, Happy new year fellow Delhiites!! P.S. : My novice ass managed to cook great chicken curry though! What are few key takeaways and life lessons that you learnt this year?
