Shady business practices in Delhi
Here is a list of shady business practices i have come across in Delhi. These could be helpful for people who are coming to delhi for the 1st time and want to be vigilant: 1. After you checkout from oyo rooms, they can force and ask you to give 5 star review on Google to maintain the trustworthiness. Although these oyos and properties are shit. 2. Juice sellers, nimbu pani sellers can give you the drink which costs more than you asked for. Example you know it costs 10 rupee a glass but they give you bigger glass and then fight you for more money after you consume it 3. If you order an ola uber at night, the driver might actually detour from the original path and will go towards their home as it is night time and their time to go home… So in middle if you ask them that it is wrong route where we are going then they will act all foolishly as if they didn’t know it and will tell you they now cant go opposite side. And they will book you another ride on cod… and will ask you to pay for the distance he has driven. Good to confirm the location before you hop on any ola uber 4. If you drink/zmoke in a public place, a fake cop in casual dress can come to you and show fake id, be aggressive with you, will ask for money or threaten you to lock you up… they will be in a casual dress so you will never know. 5. Lastly, a general advice: never jump in between a fight or verbal argument (unless obviously it is life death situation) between 2 people. You will save yourself a lot of mental peace and maybe your face even. I havent included the obvious ones here which everyone already knows… but there are even shadier stuff that goes on which is a post for another time MAYBE.2
