Is it a new normal for us?

A tragic stampede at New Delhi Railway Station on Saturday claimed the lives of at least 18 people, including 11 women and five children, with over a dozen injured. The incident occurred due to a sudden rush of passengers trying to board trains headed for the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. This raises serious questions about the arrangements in place for such massive gatherings and the risks taken by people traveling without reservations. Shouldn’t the government have anticipated the surge in demand and provided sufficient trains to prevent such a disaster?
