I took half a day off today to assist my friend, who has his wedding tomorrow. He's pursuing an MBA from the School of Open Learning (SOL), University of Delhi. He’s been standing in line since 11:00 AM, and it’s now 4:30 PM. All of this is for a minor typo in his father’s name—a mistake made by the college. Yet, after more than 5.5 hours, there’s no sign of his application being processed anytime soon. Now we both are waiting, he's in the line, I am sitting nearby. To make matters worse, the staff took their personal lunch break from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, even though the official lunch hour is 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
