I am 19, An incident got me thinking are we the really L-Generation
Around 10 days back I was coming from metro seeing a doctor, Since I had injury in my leg it was difficult for me to stand in metro. So, I sat in the seat reserved for Old and disabled people. After 2 stations the uncle sitting beside me got down and an lady maybe around 30-32 years old sat beside me in the seats reserved. In the next station an old uncle came and asked me to get up but I respectfully declined stating the injury. Then after 1 station same thing happened and I had to say no. Both this times the old uncles were quite angry at me, However, I had a genuine problem so I didn't pay much attention to them. Finally, an uncle came I stated the problem, However he thought I was lying and started to quarrel. I didn't want to quarrel so I got up, All this time the lady beside me didn't for once offered her seat or was willing to move from the seat. This really got me thinking are we really the L-Generation as referred to or the problem is someone else.4
