Feeling lonely? Here's what I did
A heartbreak and a new city with no friends? Moved back to Delhi with this aching feeling of void inside me. Breakup and new job didn't help. After months of feeling meh, tossing in bed, scrolling. Decided to look up clubs. Turned up in Nehru Park one weekend morning. So many friendly running groups. From grandads to 5Year olds, the site was a revelation. Started slow jogs. Got better. Turned up every week. But the best part? The friends I made!! Some of us got very close. Post run breakfast turned to lazy mornings sitting in cafes (Mysore Cafe!! Shoutout). Started participating in marathons and trips to the hills for running. Ended up dating a few running ladies (loved the common passion and fitness) Idk man, just go out and meet people. Such a boost to my mental health!!1
