beware of zepto scam.
I wanted to share my recent experience with Zepto to raise awareness and hopefully prevent others from facing a similar issue. # What Happened: I placed a prepaid order on Zepto and received a delivery confirmation notification. However, **I never received the order**. Two hours later, I called the delivery rider, and to my shock, he admitted that the package was **stolen** and advised me to request a refund. Afterwards I immediately contacted Zepto’s customer support. The supervisors I spoke to assured me they were reviewing camera footage and promised to cancel the order and initiate a refund. But guess what? **No action was taken**, and my money is still stuck. # Why This is Alarming: 1. **Scam Risk:** This feels like an organized scam involving both riders and perhaps the staff. 2. **No Accountability:** Despite my repeated follow-ups, Zepto hasn’t resolved the issue. 3. **Paid Orders at Risk:** Prepaid orders make you vulnerable, as there’s no leverage if the company fails to deliver. # My Advice: * **Avoid Prepaid Orders:** Stick to **Cash on Delivery (COD)** to protect your money. * **Try Alternatives:** Platforms like **Blinkit** or **Swiggy Instamart** are more reliable and transparent in my experience.3
