A disturbing and alarming concern

Something that's been bothering me is how young guys (15-25) think it's okay to casually call women the r-word online. I've lost count of how many times I've seen it in influencer's comments, like with recent Dhanashree and Yuzi's divorce rumors, obviously they're swarming ger comment section with that word. It's especially hypocritical since these same guys would likely be outraged if someone disrespected their own sisters, mothers, or girlfriends in a similar way. It's sickening and we need stricter consequences for online harassment and bullying. Your opinion on this?
