Hello everyone, I’ll be moving to Dehradun soon as I’m joining Graphic Era University as an Assistant Professor. My salary will be ₹35,000 per month. I’m wondering if this amount is sufficient to live comfortably in Dehradun. I’m looking for a simple lifestyle—renting a small flat, managing utilities, groceries, and occasional outings. For those living or familiar with Dehradun, could you please share insights on: Average rent for a 1BHK/2BHK in a safe and decent area near the university.
