Which scooter is best for hill rides and family?

I am thinking of buying a new scooter, I have never owned one before. I am considering either the Activa or the Jupiter. Could you please share your experience on these or any other? I am looking for a practical family scooter but will also use it occasionally for trips to Mussoorie.
