Need help- planning a vacation with 3 month old.

Hi all. Planning a vacation with my 3 month old to Rishikesh. How much is the travel time from Delhi via road? Has the new Dehradun exprsssway opened and is it of any help to go to Rishikesh? I’m being told by the hotels that it might take above of 5 hours. Please help me plan the vacation ! Will be grateful
