Best way to trek to dayara bugyal?

Which agency? Or should I hire a local guy (guide) .. Also I have been out of shape for like 6-7 months.. although I have done treks like rudranath etc.. but should I give 1 month to fitness first..? I have just started training again after huge gap in fitness
