I'm from Trichy and recently fell in love with Coimbatore during my first visit! I'm seriously considering migrating there and have started looking at 2BHK houses in Saravanampatti, near Thudiyalur Road, with a budget of around 60 lacs. I've seen a few apartments around 859 sqft priced in the 55 lac range, which seems to be the going rate for that area. Are there any areas I should be particularly cautious about? * Water Scarcity: I've heard that Coimbatore faces water scarcity issues. How severe is it in Saravanampatti? Are there regular water cuts? Are most apartments reliant on tanker water, and if so, how does that impact monthly expenses? Besides these two, are there any other important factors I should consider before making a decision?
