How much would be the building approval cost for a ~3000 sqft house in Coimbatore?

I’m about to apply for building approval in a few days and whoever I ask to about the exact charges for this, give me different answers. I was informed that I could not go down the Self Certification route because of bigger dimensions. Has anyone ever been through this process before and know about the govt charges and bribes? Please do guide me if I could save any money on this. It would be a great help! Also please shed some light on the charges for getting temporary EB line as well.
