Day Activities to do in 12 hours in Ooty

Hey guys, I will be traveling from Coimbatore to Ooty (taking the toy train from Coonoor to Ooty) this Saturday. I will be leaving Ooty the same night. So I will be in Ooty for like 12 hours basically from 9 am. It would be great if you could suggest what places I can cover in these 12 hours. I know just 1 day isn't enough to explore this beautiful destination but it was planned in the last minute and I will definitely come back later next year to explore the place properly. Please suggest whatever I can do in this one day. Thanks a lot! P.S: I'm traveling solo, so there's that.
