Just got laid off

Hi guys, just wanted to vent. Joined a company 6 months ago. Performed well. But they 'suddenly' decided that this role is reduntant and decided to lay me off. Feeling very low and hopeless. If you had gone through this how did you cope? Let me know it would help me
