How to pay for a toll if i don't have Fast tag?

Hi, I want to drive down from Mylapore to Surf turf this weekend. And I am assuming there is toll at some point between this. My mom's car doesn't have a fast tag, and I know there have been some new rules for Fasttag. Considering I don't have one, can I just pay in cash there ?
