20M, starting a New Chapter in Chennai – Need Advice on Accommodation, Food & Local Tips!

Vanakkam, folks! I'm currently pursuing my BE in Bangalore and have been living away from home for the past six years, so that’s no biggie for me. My upcoming internship is at the World Trade Center, Chennai, and this will be my first time in the city. I’d love your tips on the do’s and don’ts in Chennai as I gear up for this new chapter in my life. Also, any suggestions for budget-friendly accommodation and good vegetarian food near my workplace would be a huge help! Saving both money and travel time is a priority.
