Traffic fine

I exchanged my scooty a year back while buying my current bike! The showroom sold my scooty to someone ig! Now the person who bought the scooty hasn't changed the ownership (still it's in my name) and my phone number is linked to the RC For the past 3months the vehicle is attracting finest in anna nagar traffic cams I wasn't bothered at first cuz it's normal for people to ride with the old persons RC Now I got a call from traffic police regarding non payment of fine . It's fucking annoying to answer and the person on the other side has so knowledge of what to do All she says is ask them to change the ownership. How on earth could I contact them? Is there any options to get rid of this? Would appreciate to know 😌
