  • Seeking Data: Correlation between Section 498A Accusations and Income

I'd like to propose a hypothesis and see if anyone can provide some valuable insights or data. Has anyone noticed a correlation between the likelihood of being accused under Section 498A (dowry harassment) and the accused person's income? My hypothesis is that the probability of being accused under Section 498A increases with the accused person's salary. In other words, are people with higher incomes more likely to be accused under this section? To test this hypothesis, I think it would be interesting to compare the data of people who have been accused under Section 498A with their annual income. If anyone has access to such data or can point me in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it. Edit: I'm looking for data-specific insights, not anecdotal evidence or personal opinions
