Mistakes that are normalised

Mistakes maybe an understatement but we do a lot of things which are prohibited or illegal to do but still we do these. What are those that you do that falls into this. For example I would cross tracks in railway station to go for one platform to opposite one. Also in college I would go after the first hour as no one questions me or the punishment is low eventhough I study in a engg college
