Is it true that RTO is closed for both New Year's Eve and New Year?

I booked the Ather bike on 18th Dec, saying that the bike would be delivered on 26th Dec but they said that the colour I booked wasn't available so I went with the one they had which was red. Again, on 26th Dec, they said that the vehicle would get delivered by 31st Dec (stating reasons like the intended colour wasn't available, that's why the delay and all). But now when I called them and asked, they said that RTO is closed today and cause of that, they couldn't get the number plate. They have given assurance that it will get delivered by 26th Dec, then on 31st Dec and now on 2nd January, 2025. I'm not sure how long will they keep on delaying. It seems like the sales exec is also extremely careless. He said that the message of RTO being closed was shared with him internally but missed it. Yeah, probably cause of his lack of focus. Anyways, is RTO closed for both days? (New years eve and new year)
