Is BlaBlaCar legit?

I am very new to this carpooling stuff. I created an account a whole ago, but my friend encouraged me to use it when I travel alone to my native. He said that I would get immediate responses. I published a ride from Tambaram to Madurai for tomorrow at 6 pm. I even fixed the price of a seat to 100rs lesser than the suggested amount. Because, why not? The hell, I am gonna travel anyway. But all I could get was 1 guy after 4hrs of posting it. Is there anything that I am missing? P.S. I have verified myself with a government ID. And have uploaded my profile picture as well. My friend suggested me to do this.
