How can I attend two marriages back to back?

I have two of my friend's marriages back to back. But there are a few issues. The first marriage is from Jan 15 to 18, in Rajasthan. The second friend's marriage is in the second week of February, 150 km from Delhi. I live in Chennai. For me, it would be very expensive to spend money on flights. So I was thinking that I take one flight to Delhi and attend my friend's marriage in Rajasthan (near Delhi). Then, instead of taking a return flight on 18 Jan, I stay at some place, preferably near Delhi or Gurugram, till the second week of Feb. Then attend my second friend's marriage, and finally return home. For work, I can ask for remote work for these weeks. What do you guys think? Any better ideas? And where should I stay? Will anyone be in Delhi/Gurugram between 18 Jan to Feb second week?
