Bad Auto Experience

Was going in my scooter with a friend in literally the corner of the road. Idhukku mela platform la dhaan otanum. Heard the auto guy honk, but there was no “place” to give. He yelled saying “approm kadha peslaam modhalla ozhunga otu” and I lost it. I replied “en unga kuda pesanum ah? vareengala?” That’s all. All hell broke lose. He got down from the auto to hit me. Everyone around pacified him. I did not react at all and kept asking him to drive away instead of causing drama. To which he replied “ponnu madhiri pesa sonna mairu madhiri pesudhu” and kept swearing continuously. Where do these people even get their sense of entitlement from? The sexism I notice on road is so jarring - and when you react their fragile masculine ego cannot handle it for 3 seconds. Ruined my whole day.
