Drunk Driving Challan

I just got challaned yesterday night. Breath analyser showed 33 reading. I wasn’t drunk i had a corona at 12 noon. But i ate nothing after and got challan at 10 pm. They took my RC and said to take it from 43 court. I am not from Chandigarh i was driving a red thar and i have to come from Jalandhar. Kindly tell me what is the procedure about getting my RC back. The challan was 10k for some other reason and the amount for DUI would be decided by the court. Do i get a lawyer? Or I just go and do all the procedures by myself. Kindly help.
