A Little Corner of Calm at Morni Hills"
So, I visited Morni (District Panchkula) today—on official work. On the way back to Chandigarh, we stopped at the Haryana Tourism guest house for lunch. While waiting for the food, I wandered into the backyard. There was this tree with lichens growing on it, and it just hit me how clean the air must be up here at the top of the mountain. (As they say, lichens only grow where there is no pollution.) The view on the other side was stunning, but what caught my eye was this little corner—a line with some clothes hanging on a wire. Probably someone from the staff lives there. I don’t know why, but the whole vibe felt so calm and beautiful. Just one of those places that make you pause for a second and soak it all in.3
